Group Visits
The Berea College Office of Admissions is happy to offer on-campus tours for your high school group! Group visits are a great way to help introduce your students to Berea College.
Group visit dates are limited, and reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Due to the high demand and the Student Ambassadors' availability, we are currently unable to accommodate tours for middle or elementary age students at this time.
What You Can Expect
The Berea College Office of Admissions offers on-campus group visits which include a 20-minute Information Session hosted by Admissions Staff and a 60 - 90 minute walking tour of campus hosted by a Student Ambassador.
Requests must be made 2 weeks in advance.
Group tours are only available to groups of 11 - 30 high school students who are currently in 9th through 12th grade. We require 1 chaperone for every 10 students in attendance.
Meals on Campus
If you are interested in eating lunch on campus, please contact Connie Middleton at the Mountaineer Dining Hall at middletonc@berea.edu. She can help you with payment arrangements. Please note that our dining staff is unable to process individual payments for each student; be prepared to make one transaction that will cover the total for the entire group.
Outside food (boxed lunches, etc) is not allowed in the dining hall. If you prefer to bring boxed lunches, the Office of Admissions can direct you to available places indoors or outside where you can eat together. Optional blankets are welcome!
Since our dining hall primarily serves current students, we cannot ensure that your group will be able to sit together.
